We are committed to providing you with quality yarn and craft materials. We aim to provide a quality service and hope that your experience of shopping with us will be a pleasant one. We love to hear feedback from our customers.

Packaging and Shipping to Ireland is included in our prices. Shipping to other countries will incur an additional cost, see below for details

Orders are despatched within 2 working days where the item is in stock. Where payment has been made by cheque, the order will be despatched once the cheque has cleared.  We may ship larger orders in more than one package (you will not be charged extra for this). Most items will be despatched by An Post, although larger orders may go by courier. We will inform you in your confirmation email of the method of delivery.  If you order does not arrive check with other members of your household, your postman or sorting office. Large parcels that will not fit through the letter box may be retained in the sorting office. The post office will often leave a note asking you to call to the sorting office.

We do expect all our products on the website will be available immediately but should you order one that is out of stock we will inform you by email advising you of the anticipated dispatch date. If you wish to cancel your order we will refund you immediately. We may ship the available part of your order straight away and the remainder at a later stage. You will not be charged extra because of this.
All items will be packaged in appropriate and safe packaging. We cannot be held responsible for any accidents, loss, theft or damage incurred during transit. In the unlikely event that you receive damaged goods or if there is anything wrong with your order, please keep the damaged packaging as proof and notify us within seven days. We will resend the order upon receipt of the faulty goods at no further cost to you. Insured postage can be arranged at additional cost. Please check your order carefully when it arrives.
A confirmation email will be sent to you when we receive your order. It will contain the details of your order. Please check the details carefully and notify us immediately of any inaccuracies. In particular, please check the contact details and delivery address carefully. If you do not receive our order confirmation email, please contact us as we may have the incorrect email address or the email may have been filtered out by your spam filter.
You can cancel an order within 24 hours of placing the order – please quote the order number and full details of what has been ordered. After that time please contact us to check that the order has not been despatched. Orders that have been despatched cannot be cancelled.
A despatch email will be sent when the parcel has been despatched.
Payment can be made on our website using credit card or laser. We also accept cheques and postal orders.
All online payments are secure and protected by an SSL (secure socket layer). This allows visitors to verify the site’s authenticity and communicate securely. This protects the users name, password, credit card, address, and shipping information from interception and hacking. All cheques must be in euros and drawn on a bank in the Republic of Ireland. Cheques from other jurisdictions and in other currencies may incur additional charges. Please contact us on: 085 1303762 if you have any difficulties or questions about making payment.

 

If there is any problem with the order, please contact us immediately by email, phone or post before returning any items. We may be able to sort it out straight away. Please quote our order number when communicating with us about your order. Parcels returned to us without our knowledge may not be accepted and returned to sender – remember, contact us first. Please enclose the packing note, receipt or invoice with any returns – to assist us in sorting out the problem.

All returns must be unused and unopened in original packaging with packing slip or copy of the invoice. Please note that we are unable to exchange items but we always do our best to make shopping with us a good experience.

Refunds will be made by the original method of payment.

In certain circumstances, orders can be returned with our agreement but will incur a 10% restocking fee to cover our costs in processing and packing the order. All goods must be unused, in perfect condition and in the original packaging. We do not refund the original postage, as we will already have incurred that cost. Nor do we refund the cost of returning the items to us. Goods must be returned at customers cost – except where we have accepted liability in advance of their being returned. Please pack the returns well as we are not responsible for goods damaged in return transit.

We have taken great care to photograph our products as true to actual colour as possible. However, computer monitors vary widely, and one colour may not appear identical from one monitor to the next. We are happy to send samples where possible.
Knitting wools supplied will always be from the same dye lot. In large orders, this may cause a delay in despatch if we need to order the batch from the manufacturers. Some yarns are also noticeably different from dye-lot to dye lot or batch to batch, in these cases we will alert you to this possibility.  If you are ordering additional yarn to match an existing dye lot, please let us have details of the original dye lot. The dye lot will be on the wool band or on the packing note.
Nothing in these terms conflict with your statutory rights as a consumer. Title for the goods passes when payment is received. Irish law will govern this contract. The purchaser is responsible for all local taxes or import duties in their country or state upon receipt or import of products from us. These do not generally apply within the EU. We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions.
