For years I dreamt of a space where I could be creative and inspired by the wonderful yarns and fibers that are being created across the globe. A space away from the bussle of everyday life, where the endless possibilities of colour and texture could be explored. From this dream, The Yarn Room was born. Step in and be inspired.
The Yarn Room is now a place that everyone can visit. Our new shop in Ashford Village, Co. Wicklow is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am to 5:30 pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 6pm. We are open till 9pm on Thursdays. We hope that you will all be able to visit the shop in Ashford.
We are also now running our own Thursday Night Knit Club. The shop will be open from 6:30 - 9pm for chat, knitting and refreshments. Come and join us - everyone is welcome.
In conjunction with Heritage week, we are hosting a free Felting drop in on Saturday the 28th of August 2010. Visitors are invited to spend about 30mins making a small felted flower and learn a little about the process of wet felting.

Post and packaging within Ireland is included in all our prices. We ship any order to the UK and Europe for a flat rate of €8.50. We also ship to the US and Worldwide.
