The Yarn Room has moved to a bigger and brighter shop. We are still in Ashford village, we have simply moved down the road to a 2 storey shop opposite the entrance to Mount Usher Gardens and Avoca Cafe.
For years I dreamt of a space where I could be creative and inspired by the wonderful yarns and fibers that are being created across the globe. A space away from the bustle of everyday life, where the endless possibilities of colour and texture could be explored. From this dream, The Yarn Room was born. Step in and be inspired.
The Yarn Room is now a place that everyone can visit. Opening hours for our new Shop:
Monday: 10am to 2pm
Tuesday: 10am to 5:30pm
Wednesday: 10am to 5:30pm
Thursday: 10am to 9pm
Friday: 10am to 5:30 pm
Saturday: 10am to 6pm
Sunday: 1pm - 6pm
We look forward to seeing you in our new shop in Ashford.
We are also now running our own Thursday Night Knit Club. The shop will be open from 6:30 - 9pm for chat, knitting and refreshments. Come and join us - everyone is welcome.
Our Felting Group runs on the first Wednesday of the month from 10:30 - 12:30. Bring along whatever you are working on.

Post and packaging within Ireland is included in all our prices. We ship any order to the UK and Europe for a flat rate of €8.50. We also ship to the US and Worldwide. Payments can be made using Credit Cards or Laser by selecting the Realex button at the checkout, or you can choose to send us a cheque.
