VISIT OUR NEW SHOP IN ASHFORD, CO WICKLOW.

For years I dreamt of a space where I could be creative and inspired by the wonderful yarns and fibers that are being created across the globe. A space away from the bussle of everyday life, where the endless possibilities of colour and texture could be explored. From this dream, The Yarn Room was born. Step in and be inspired.

The Yarn Room is now a place that everyone can visit. Our new shop in Ashford Village, Co. Wicklow is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am to 5:30 pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 6pm. We are open till 9pm on Thursdays. We are no longer attending the Farmers Market in the People's Park in Dun Laoghaire on Sundays. Myself and Maria really enjoyed our Sundays there and we met so many great knitters and felters. We hope that you will all be able to visit the shop in Ashford.

We are also now running our own Thursday Night Knit Club. The shop will be open from 6:30 - 9pm for chat, knitting and refreshments. Come and join us - everyone is welcome.

The signs of spring are already here and for those thinking ahead to the summer, we are now stocking Rowan Fine Milk Cotton and Rowan Handknit Cotton. Both have wonderful rich range of colours. We are extending the range of Lang yarns with their Lang Golf 100% Cotton range . The Mercerized cotton had a depth of colour that is be great for summer tops, accessories and toys.
